Travel sites make travelling a lot easier and at the same time harder for travelers. There are travel sites who provide efficient services within minutes and there are those who provide nothing but headaches to their customers.
Let’s see if Flight Centre offers fine service or migraine.
Flight Centre was established by Graham “Skroo” Turner and Geoff “Spy” Harris in 1982, cool nicknames.
Skroo is the CEO since he knows the agency’s business more than anyone. The original plan was for Skroo to be a great veterinarian back to his hometown in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia. But he decided to travel the world and then met Spy in london, and the rest is history.
Things are not looking good for Flight Centre, the agency received a lot of negative reviews on Tripadvisor and ProductReview. According to online reviews, Flight Centre’s services are not credible because they tend to procrastinate when providing customer support. Customers called their customer support “liars and terrible.”
Some complaints were also submitted about the agency altering flight arrangements without consulting the travelers. One patron shared his experience with Flight Centre, he booked his flight for a vacation trip 5 months early. Three weeks before his flight, the agency informed him that his was cancelled and that they had to shorten his stay at this destination without asking him in the first place. There were many more complaints like this.
With that being said, it is a little odd that on Trustpilot, the travel agency got a 8.8 out of 10 star rating. The positive reviews say that Flight Centre travel services are flawless and excellent every time. Which of the online reviews are being biased? It’s a little hard to know for sure.
The interface design is just like most agencies, travelers can arrange their entire itinerary. Flight deals are easily booked, the same goes with car rental and hotel reservation arrangements. Packages and discounted flights are presented. Nothing new really.
The website has a FAQs page to easily access general information about their services. They also have their feedback option for evaluation and improvements. Their customer support phone line is available 24/7 for concerns and queries. Going back to the online reviews, their customer service was bashed by negative reviews for being too passive.
Flight Centre has other subsidiaries offering more service like GOGO Holidays, Student Flights, Cruise about, Advance traders and more. They provide travel services to different countries like United States, Canada, China and more.

In a Nutshell
Flight Centre has been in business for almost 4 decades now and pretty sure they know what they’re doing. But with their current situation, certain improvements and evaluation should be tackled immediately. Did you find this Flight Centre review informative? Don’t forget to leave you comments below.
