Flight Centre Reviews
Australia is known for having some of the most diverse geographical sites as well as for having interesting wildlife critters. The land down south has a lot to offer to travelers looking for a real, blood-pumping adventure.
This nation is also the origin of Flight Centre, an online flight booking website that provides travelers what they claim to be the “lowest airfares” to flights around the world. Why don’t we go ahead and look at Flight Centre reviews to see if this claim is legitimate? Let’s go!
Origins and ownership
Graham Turner, one of the co-founders, also serves as the company’s chief executive officer. Born in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia, Mr. Turner and his family is also known for being the proprietors of various resort properties located across New South Wales and Queensland.
What people are saying
While their stores may be famous across Australia, lots of their previous customers — primarily those who booked online — are not satisfied with the services they have received from the company’s travel agents. Words like “ripoff”, “nightmare”, “errors”, and “horrible” are only some of the words used by the irate customers to describe the website.
One customer posted the following review:
“[Flew from] Australia to NZ [via] Online
Exorbitant penalty cost of $230 to correct an accidental misspelling of a passenger christian name and FC blamed the airlines involved. FC advised of incorrect spelling within 24 hours.”
Their website is pretty simple and straightforward, in terms of design. On top, you will find a red header image and directly below it are the tabs featuring the services offered by the company. These are: flights, holidays & vacations, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, rails, and travel insurance.
These services come from Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom, and the United States. In the middle of their homepage, you will find a world map which highlights the aforementioned countries. Click a country name and you will be taken to a page showing the Flight Centre contact details for that country.
The international number of Flight Centre is 133-133. However, depending on your current location, the local Flight Centre customer hotline may vary. To view all of their customer service telephone numbers, please refer to this page.

Apparently, as per the Flight Centre reviews I found online, the people who booked via their website have had unsatisfactory experiences. From bad customer service to failed booking processes, it is obvious why some people would rather go to the trouble of going to Flight Centre stores rather than book via their website. This may take a lot of time, which a lot of travelers are short of. If they do not improve their online booking process, the customers will have to find another reliable travel agency website.
