Reviews – What People Are Saying
I was surprised when i found out the large numbers of positive reviews that refers to the quality of services that Malta International Airport offers to their valued customers. I guess judging the exterior of this small and simple airport doesn’t really mean that they offer cheap services and average quality facilities. I was wrong, and by reading these comments; I was impressed on how the airport really serves their customers:
“Nice small airport. Friendly staff, if hard to find specific help at times (the arcade chewed up our money, and there was no one in sight to ask). A decent amount of entertainment and food at hand for the size of the airport, and it’s really clean and looks nice. Arrival was easy with a fairly quick exit and departure was comfortable, with WiFi available in most corners of the building. The shops ain’t great in duty free, kinda hoped for better Malta merchandise as I didn’t get a chance during the trip. Nice overall.”

“A small but very efficient airport. Just in the arrival hall, there is a tourist information centre and a counter to sell you the bus pass. It is a good place to buy a bus pass here as you can only get one in limited places inside the cities. Outside airport, there are different airport bus linking to main cities in Malta, very convenient.”

Airside and landside shops, restaurants and other outlets, which are all operated on concession agreements. The airport also leases office space to airlines and other travel related operators at the airport. The airport also improved services for disabled and reduced mobility people to ensure an easier transit through the airport terminal to the aircraft and the similarly on return.
