The clean and well-organized facilities of the airport really impresses the customers, as well as the wide variety of souvenir shops and restaurants and cafes. Here are some of the reviews:
“Fantastic airport! Clean, fast, efficient, easy to read signs. My experience getting off the plane, going on the escalators, and using the moving walkways to immigration was very smooth. Border control was fast, and the signs for the 747 bus to downtown were very clear. (The ticket machine for 747 bus was easily visible.)”

“I go through a lot of airports… and I mean a lot of airports (check my reviews)… and Montreal’s airport is like a breath of fresh air. The food is edible, the people are nice, the stores are worth wandering, and the inconveniences (check-in, security) aren’t a test of your patience and civility in the face of stupidity. Going through customs doesn’t make you feel like a criminal, the cab line makes sense, and in general, the entire airport is well organised. Pay attention Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver… learn from Montreal!”
—Sharlene M (Montreal, QC)
“I do fly a lot so I’ve been to a lot of airports. I do like YUL a lot. It’s quiet and not so busy. We went through everything really smoothly and did have time for duty free shopping. The only thing I might remind everyone is that the luggage scan part is pretty slow. They are very careful about everyone’s luggage contents. Other than that, I do like this airport.”
