Scandinavian Airlines Reviews
Scandinavia, or the Scandinavian Peninsula, is made up of three countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. These countries
share North Germanic languages and have a common heritage. This peninsula is also the birthplace of Scandinavian Airlines, or SAS.
In this article, we will look at Scandinavian Airlines reviews with the goal of finding out more about this airline’s quality of service.
History and Ownership
SAS was founded in 1946 when the flag carriers of Norway and Denmark (Norwegian Air Lines and Danish Air Lines), along with Svensk Interkontinental Lufttrafik (a Swedish airline), decided to create a partnership in order to properly manage and carry the large traffic coming from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
The Chief Executive Officer and President of SAS since February 2011 has been Mr. Rickard Gustafson. Prior to joining SAS, Gustafson has took on the role of several managerial positions for various companies. He is a Management graduate from Linköping Institute of Technology and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering.
People’s Opinion on SAS
People seem to have mixed opinions regarding the airline’s service quality. After searching the web for Scandinavian Airlines reviews, I have seen lots praises as well as criticisms thrown to SAS. According to others, their experience have been ruined by the terrible attitude of the airline’s flight attendants and ground staff. According to him, the airline overcharged his baggage and made him pay extra.
On the other hand other passengers expressed their satisfaction with the airline. According to one passenger, he got a free upgrade while on a flight from Shanghai to Keflavik. He said that he even got the seat beside him for free. Not everything about this airline is bad, it seems.

After checking out Scandinavian Airlines reviews, we have decided to give the airline three stars out of five, simply because we can see that the airline still manages to please some of their customers. Other passengers have had bad experiences with their service, so hopefully the management addresses their issues to prevent them from happening again in the future.
