What people are saying
Aside from the delicious foods, comfy legrooms and smooth flights, Turkish Airlines passengers seems to have some issue with the Airline. Preferably with their customer service accommodations. Some of these remarks are written below:
“I flew Turkish Airlines a while ago from Viena to Istanbul. I was attonished by the quality of the service. Dispite it was just a 2 hour flight, we have entertainment in every seat and a full meal! Very good quality! All the crew members were super nice to me and on the way back they even gave us Turkish candy! It is definitely my favorite airline! 🙂 keep it up guys!”

“I’ve never encountered such rude, unprofessional and deceitful practices by any airline in the world. True it was my fault that I missed my connecting flight at Atarurk airport, so I had to go to the ticketing office to pay a penalty. Though I didn’t want to, I knew it was my fault so the ticket staff told me it would be $690 for the penalty. She issued a new boarding pass for that next flight and when I walked out of the office towards security, I decided to do the conversion of Turkish liras to USD and saw it was equivalent to $920. When I confronts her, she had the audacity, in front of her other 5 or so colleagues, to say “oh well, nothing I can do now”. She didn’t deny telling me it would be $690, but she just said what’s done is done. I issued an online complaint and all the airline acknowledged was “we warned that staff of her unprofessional behavior because she didn’t provide a smile”. That is the shameful on the entire airline that is supposed to be so reputable. I can’t believe how low the airline ticketing office operates. Has anybody else encountered similar troubles at that ticketing office?”

“Absolutely the WORST travel experience ever. Airlines mishandled my luggage and it did not make it to my final destination. After I inquired where my luggage was and why it did not make it to my final destination, Turkish Airlines employee responded, “I don’t know”. After a lengthy discussion, I asked what the Airline would do to ensure that my luggage was delivered to me. Turkish Airline employee responded that they do not have a delivery policy and that it would be MY responsibility to contact the Airport AND MY responsibility to pick up the luggage if/when it made it to my final destination. Why should I be inconvenienced for their incompetence!? Turkish Airlines Customer Service SUCKS!!! Avoid this airline at all cost.”
