Vayama does not sell the services, instead, they simply connect the travelers to companies who offer the said services.
The company is headquartered in the city of San Jose, California and began operations in 2007.
Tanmay Kar is the Chief Financial Officer of Vayama. Aside from this company, he also founded Cheapest Online, Inc. From 2007 to 2012 he was the Managing Director & CFO of Travix.

The Vayama reviews were a mix of both positive and negative. For those who didn’t experience any problem with booking with the company, they praised the wide array of hotels, airlines, and other travel service companies to choose from.
Unfortunately, human as we are, we are all bound to make errors. And that’s when the problem comes in. According some travelers, Vayama “doesn’t care” about those who have already paid for their bookings. Re-bookings, cancellations, and are very difficult to do and their calls are often ignored or dropped by Vayama’s agents.
Yelp reviewer, Kelvin C., expressed his disappointment with the company with the following review:
“I had a time change to one of my flights and wouldn’t be able to make that changed flight. Long story short, after multiple hours on the phone, being hung up on, and customer service repeatedly refusing to either change my flight or give me a refund, I’m SOL. Any other agency would EASILY be able to change this flight as all airlines have a no fee change policy for time changes to flights.”
He gave Vayama a 1-star rating.

If you value your time and money while traveling, you may want to reconsider your decition about booking with this company. As per the Vayama reviews I found online, people were not very satisfied with the customer service quality that they received. Dropped and ignored calls from inconvenienced customers is not an indication of a good company.
